Revenue Process Specialist

 

Situation in organisation 
This position reports to the Business Unit Finance Manager and supports the Durable Goods business unit.  This position works collaboratively across the business unit to support and optimize business pricing processes, and various commercial and financial initiatives related to pricing as identified.

 

Job dimensions
Collaborates internally with a variety of teams including Finance, Customer Service, Sales, Credit and Collections, and Salesforce support personnel to optimize the businesses revenue generating processes, ensuring financial accuracy, and maximizing profitability.  This includes coordinating the pricing execution process, collaborating to resolve pricing discrepancies, utilizing data to analyze revenue performance, identifying opportunities to improve processes, and other revenue related activities for the Durable Goods BU.

 

Activities

  • Coordinate pricing additions and activity for the business unit through use of Salesforce CPQ or SAP as applicable
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure all sales orders are executed with active and accurate pricing, lead internal efforts to resolve pricing discrepancies
  • Act as a partner to the Sales organization to troubleshoot and improve the price entry and administration process
  • Support the implementation of mass price increase campaigns based on business strategies: reviewing price targets, aligning with sales, managing execution, and financial reporting
  • Support data and process integrity in Salesforce and SAP
  • Collaborate with Salesforce support personnel on Salesforce CPQ initiatives as needed
  • Maintain accurate process documentation for work flows as continuous improvements are implemented
  • Run periodic pricing and profitability analyses and provide recommendations to the business for improvement, utilizing Excel, PowerBI, and other analysis tools
  • Support recurring monthly activities and reporting, including Sales Agent commissions, rebate reconciliations, etc.
  • Support preparation of ad-hoc and recurring analyses and financial reporting
  • Support continuous improvement of processes throughout entire organization in all aspects of the role

 

Context and environment

  • Onsite at Wauwatosa, WI location at least 3 days per week
  • Occasional travel domestically as needed – approximately < 10%
  • Supports the site EHS policy and complies with all regulatory and internal requirements
  • Participates in EHS activities provided by site management and Bostik, Inc. (e.g., Puresafety, etc.)
  • Supports and promotes the reporting of all health, safety, environmental, near-miss, accident or injury incidents
  • Practice safe work habits, in accordance with OSHA and EPA guidelines and Bostik specific EHS requirements
     

Accountabilities

  • Financial expert in all elements affecting Gross to Net Sales Revenue and how SAP functionality affects the revenue of the business
  • Expert on Salesforce CPQ functionality, workflows and pricing processes
  • First point of contact for price implementation related process support for Sales and Customer Service teams
  • Ensure timeliness and accuracy of reporting.
  • Ability to communicate effectively throughout the organization.
  • Supports continuous improvement which adapts with dynamic business unit environment
     

Qualifications / experience required

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, technical field or similar/equivalent.
  • Fluent in English required, French speaking a plus
  • Strong Microsoft Office Skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Sharepoint, Teams)
  • Working knowledge of SAP, Salesforce, and PowerBI preferred, but not required
  • Thorough understanding of how to leverage a wide variety of data and related computer tools to perform job functions
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and business acumen.
  • Strong desire to win.  Highly motivated, fast-paced execution.  Motivated self-starter.
  • Ability to build effective relationships with all levels and roles in the organization.
  • Ability to lead self and work collaboratively to identify process improvement opportunities.
  • Communicates effectively both verbally and in writing; listens effectively and clarifies information as needed; works well with others in a cross-functional team environment knowing who to engage to achieve results.
