Direction

- report daily operation to senior supply chain manager in Japan and functionally BU director and the BU supply chain manger on in-charged products. Under the supervision of senior supply chain manager in Japan for job assignment, performance review, etc.

Situation in Organization

Belong to sales department in BU.
Mainly working with local sales managers and related BU supply chain managers

Job Dimensions & Missions

BU and Product in charge: Specialt.Polyamides /PEBAX, Flurionated Polymers / KYNAR
- Average # of sales/purchase transactions per month : 60 sales / 25 purchases
- Manufacturing companies of main products in charge: ARF,ACP, ARKEMA INC
- Main warehouse of the products in charge: MITSUBISHI LOGISTICS.
- Main forwarder of the products in charge: MITSUBISHI LOGISTICS.

Activities

1, HSE & Safety
2, Supply chain management (optimize from manufacturing companies to the customers)
3, Inventory Management (optimize inventory volume, minimize aged stock, manage default stock, etc.)
4, Sales support (various coordination with manufacturing companies, local distributors, local manufacturing companies, and customers.)
5, Shipment arrange & Optimize shipping cost (compose FCL from CHINA, FRANCE & US )

Context and Environment

Difference between Arkema HQ’s policy and Japanese local regulations, customs, business practices, etc.
Mentality, especially sense of quality, difference between group culture and local culture.

Accountabilities

1. Provide internal/external customers with good administrative/operational service
2. Improve product knowledge
3. Improve productivity and efficiency
4. Catch up every changing working environment

Qualifications/Experience Required

Knowledge and experience of
- PC and major application software: SAP, OTM,Outlook, Teams, Excel, Words, etc.
- Administration of import/export
- Commercial process flow management
- Inventory management
- Business level English as well as Japanese 
- Team work
- Willingness of self-development
General skill: communication/negotiation
Adaptability to cross-cultural work environment
