Mission Details

Reports to: Supply Chain Director

  • Manage demand and supply planning, ensuring customer satisfaction while achieving the optimum overall cost to the business.  Contribute actively as a member of SCM team in achieving the company's objectives.

Coordination:

   Internal: All departments

   External: 3PL personnel, trucking, suppliers

Logistics job

  • Accuracy and integrity of records with regards to raw and packaging materials and finished goods and other related inventories
  • Inventories kept on reasonable variance

Warehousing

  • Approve received raw and packaging materials and labels.
  • Ensure that evaporation loss is kept at a minimum level.
  • Prepare daily stock position report.
  • Monitor stock position of all inventories and make necessary follow up with Purchasing or Production.
  • Ensure that monthly cycle count is conducted in the warehouse.
  • Help in formulating ways to improve efficiency and cut down of cost.
  • Prepare monthly material requirement summary.
  • See to it that all assigned tasks are done according to specifications in terms of quality and quantity at the right time and minimum possible cost.
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of inventory records and raw materials.

Records Management

  • Ensure the integrity of all records in the SAP.
  • Ensure that discrepancies between records and count are kept at reasonable variance.
  • Have ownership of the forecast data, report generation and management. Be proactive in identifying gaps in monthly and quarterly forecast, especially as it relates to sell thru trends, channel inventory.
  • Use and maintain forecast templates as the primary forecasting system tool. Test different methodologies as best fit.

HSE & Good Housekeeping

  • Maintain the orderliness and cleanliness of the RM warehouse area.

Administrative

  • Demonstrate a collaborative approach while working with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment in supply and demand assumptions. Provide crucial insights into the area of business and induct into forecast models (eg. market performance and recent sales trends).
  • Contribute in managing product lifecycles by collaborating with cross-functional teams in developing inventory strategies on existing items, new products, and product transitions.
  • Help prepare reports and presentations for multiple teams
  • Give appropriate disciplinary action to erring warehouse employees.
  • Foresee any concerns that would affect the attainment of production plan.
  • Approve application for a leave of absence

Others

  • Work with S&OP team to consolidate regional plans, perform initial analysis and validate regional assumptions and data accuracy
  • Perform other functions that may be assigned by the immediate superior from time to time

Required Profile

Experience

  • On Technical experience
  • 2 to 3 years Warehousing experience in a manufacturing firm

Education

  • College graduate (Accounting, Chemical, Industrial, Civil or Mechanical Engineering) 
  • Licensed is a plus factor
