The Supply Chain Analyst – Supply Planning is responsible for developing and executing production and supply plans that ensure the consistent availability of Specialty Polyamide products to meet global customer demand. The role focuses on translating demand signals into efficient production schedules, coordinating closely with the Birdsboro manufacturing site and external tolling partners, and optimizing the balance between customer requirements, inventory targets, and plant capabilities. This hybrid position supports operations at both Birdsboro and Radnor, with an expected onsite presence of approximately two days per week in Birdsboro and one day per week in Radnor.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain accurate supply and production plans to meet customer demand and inventory targets.
  • Translate demand signals into detailed production schedules for polymerization, extrusion, powder grinding, and finished goods.
  • Participate in production meetings to track progress, address delays, and ensure accurate system updates.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve scheduling issues and maintain operational efficiency.
  • Ensure production schedules support delivery commitments, operational efficiency, and working capital goals.
  • Coordinate finishedgoods readiness for domestic and international shipments.
  • Analyze production performance indicators to identify areas for improvement.
  • Manage scheduling and material flows for tolling partners, including rawmaterial shipments and finishedgoods returns.
  • Create and maintain tollingrelated purchase and production orders in SAP.
  • Analyze vendor lead times and consumption trends to forecast rawmaterial requirements.
  • Perform cycle counts and maintain accurate rawmaterial inventory records.
  • Monitor inbound shipments and consumption of key materials and escalate potential supply risks.
  • Support the Management of Change (MOC) process and coordinate Plant Trial Requests.
  • Manage offspec, aged, and blocked inventory through rework, blending, or disposition processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a technical field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Customer Service.
  • Experience with SAP and Transportation Management Systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; Power BI experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work crossfunctionally in a fastpaced environment.
  • APICS certification a plus.
