JOB SUMMARY

 

Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for supply chain excellence? Arkema is seeking a Demand Manager to lead forecasting and planning across a dynamic, multi-product portfolio. In this high-impact role, you’ll drive supply chain operations, optimize product and equipment planning, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support critical field services in the petrochemicals and oil refinery markets.

 

You’ll work closely with global partners, sales teams, and service providers to ensure seamless execution of business strategy while contributing to continuous improvement and innovation in our S&OP process.

 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Lead Supply Chain Operations

  • Balance supply and demand across plants, tollers, and imports.
  • Coordinate domestic and international shipments and equipment.
  • Implement cost-saving logistics initiatives and manage SAP tolling.
  • Maintain master data integrity and oversee depot compliance.

 

Lead Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) Execution

  • Develop and track production volume plans.
  • Resolve supply/demand mismatches and optimize scheduling.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing and tolling sites for raw material planning.
  • Manage inventory accuracy and working capital targets.

 

Drive Business & Digital Process Improvements

  • Execute Business Unit Service Offer and monitor KPIs via SMART and Cash Dashboards.
  • Integrate new SKUs into S&OP and maintain material master data.
  • Support digital tools and reporting enhancements.
  • Lead cross-regional process improvement initiatives.

 

Talent Management & Team Development

  • Attract and develop supply chain talent through training and mobility.
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration and team engagement.
  • Manage direct reports through project assignments and performance coaching.

 

 

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

 

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or Technical field.                                          

 

Experience: 

  • 6–8 years of progressive experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Customer Service.
  • 5–7 years of direct supply chain experience.
  • Supervisory experience preferred.

 

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (advanced Excel skills) required.
  • Experience in SC Optimization Systems (i.e. Picaso) and system integrations.
  • Proficient in Power BI Dashboards.
  • SAP skills including MM/PP, SD and F&P required.                                                                         
  • Experience in Transportation Management Systems required.                                             
  • Project Management experience required.
