To strengthen our HSE operations, we are looking for a dedicated HSE Professional who will play a key role in developing a proactive safety and environmental culture.

Purpose of the role

In this position, you will be responsible for the entire HSE management of both sites in Europe. You ensure shopfloor safety, legal compliance, process oversight, and continuous improvement. 3. Process safety & technical safety

  • Prepare, facilitate, and follow up on PHA (Process Hazard Analysis) sessions.
  • Support MOC (Management of Change) processes.

Other responsibilities

4. Culture & proactive initiatives

  • Organize and deliver toolbox meetings, safety coaching, and workshops.
  • Strengthen and embed a robust safety culture across both sites.
  • Play an active role in continuous improvement (5S, near-miss follow-up, audits…).
  •

5. Incident management

  • Investigate and analyze incidents and near-misses (RCA).
  • Define corrective actions and follow them up with the relevant teams.

6. Reporting

  • Prepare and submit weekly, monthly, and annual HSE reports.
  • Manage KPIs related to safety, environmental compliance, and performance.

7. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) management

  • Ensure correct availability and compliance of PPE.
  • Periodically evaluate and optimise PPE usage on both sites.

Profile we are looking for?

Education & experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in prevention, safety, environment, or equivalent experience.
  • Prevention Advisor Level II (or willing to obtain it in the short term).
  • Experience in a production or process environment is a plus, but motivated starters are welcome.

Skills

  • Strong shopfloor presence and hands-on mentality.
  • Excellent communication skills within an international environment: persuasive, coaching, clear.
  • Affinity with process safety (DHA, ATEX, PHA) is an advantage, but can be trained internally.
  • Structured, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Languages

  • Very good knowledge of English, Dutch and basic knowledge of German. French is a plus.

Travel

  • Willingness to travel regularly between Nazareth (BE) and Klettgau-Griessen (DE).
