Reporting Structure: Reports to the National Sales Distribution Manager and will have 6 direct reports

Job Summary

Lead and develop a high‑performing regional sales team to achieve growth targets and support corporate objectives. This role drives strategic sales planning, oversees hiring and training, and builds strong relationships with key accounts and cross‑functional partners. The Regional Sales Manager monitors performance, supports marketing and national account initiatives, and travels extensively to develop talent and advance business opportunities.

 

Key Responsibilities

The Regional Sales Manager executes regional key account and business plans while leading the tactical implementation of territory strategies to achieve sales goals. This role provides ongoing coaching, training, and accountability, monitors new‑business pipelines, and supports team members in closing opportunities. Responsibilities include hiring and developing independent sales representatives, managing budgets and pricing within established guidelines, and effective driving adoption of Salesforce CRM. The position partners closely with Marketing and cross‑functional teams to support product launches and initiatives, gathers competitive and customer insights to inform strategy, and actively engages in field activities through customer visits, sales presentations, and oversight of Territory Managers.

 

Required Qualifications/Education/Experience

  • Four-year degree in Business or Marketing preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years successful experience managing a sales team

 

Physical Demands/Working Conditions 

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
  • Moves equipment weighing up to 57 pounds
  • Positions self to install and demo product
