National Sales Manager - B2C Retail Job

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to join our team. This role is responsible for driving growth, innovation, and operational excellence within the organization.
The National Sales Manager – B2C Retail will build and maintain a highly effective sales agency team for B2C sales who is focused on achieving national sales objectives which are in line with corporate goals.
Position is responsible for sales in B2C DIY retailers’ business segment and for becoming an expert in B2C segment, the customers, and how to deliver differentiating value. Will manage approximately $20M in revenue, 3 account managers and provide oversite for up to 30 accounts. Responsible for fostering and developing relationships with stakeholders in key accounts. Will manage relationships with other intercompany functions to ensure appropriate resources are available and focused to support selling objectives and the growth/profitability of the Pro-Sales Group.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership & Development (30%)
Hire, mentor, and train the sales team to achieve regional goals and deliver exceptional performance. - B2C-Retail Relationship Management (25%)
Build, foster, and maintain senior-level relationships with all B2C-Retail accounts to drive long-term partnerships. - Innovation & Product Development (10%)
Generate innovative ideas and products that create differentiation and support new product launches. - Cross-Functional Collaboration (10%)
Work closely with Marketing and R\&D to develop and test new products. - Forecasting & Demand Planning (5%)
Deliver a concise monthly forecast to Bostik and actively participate in the SIOP demand process. - Business Planning (5%)
Develop and present a clear business plan utilizing Building Blocks and Salesforce tools. - Leadership Team Participation (5%)
Engage in SLTeam and SMLTeam meetings to align on strategic objectives. - Pricing Oversight (5%)
Provide guidance on pricing strategies and collaborate with Account Managers to ensure competitiveness. - Trade Show Representation (5%)
Attend industry trade shows and represent Bostik as needed.
Qualifications and Education
- 10 years of Sales Management experience
- Bachelor’s degree in related field; marketing, engineering, business, finance
- Basic knowledge of chemistry is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft word, PowerPoint, excel, and Outlook. Salesforce is a plus.
- Possess excellent communication skills and a passion to succeed.
- Understand standard P&L and perform basic financial analysis.
- Travel up to 75%.
