Territory Sales Lead - Sealants Job

Job Summary

Grow the Bostik Brand presence on Sealant products in the metro Chicago area. Responsible for selling Sealing & Bonding products. Liaison with Marketing, Sales Management, Technical, to identify and bring key accounts from territory into our customer base. Solo position, could imply managing independent Reps in territory. Territory should be defined by setting Chicago as center and then drawing a 6 hour driving radius from it. Execute the Bostik Sealants Strategy and Market Sales plan.

 

Travel 50% of time is required to execute the position.

 

The job involves working directly with existing customer base in Territory as well as searching and expanding the customer base by adding new distribution points. The work also involves working and servicing contractors which might later buy through distribution.

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Together with Sales Manager define targets and Goals. (5%)
  • Develop and implement strategies to manage accounts, prepare timely sales reports, and provide technical needs. (10%)
  • Trouble shoots account problems and facilitate technical solutions for the customer. Call on Contractors and perform trainings (32%)
  • Use Salesforce.com as part of CRM (Customer Relationship Management) and daily territory management. (3%)
  • Grow the customer base following goal defined previously. (50%)

 

Minimum Qualifications and Education Required

  • Highschool / Technical degree / bachelor’s degree
  • 8-10 years in Construction Materials distribution / Contractor work

 

Physical Demands/Working Conditions

  • Off site Job, Work from home. Car needed, covering 6-hour driving radius from Chicago IL

 

Competencies -Knowledge Skills & Abilities

  • Autonomous, Disciplined, Proactive, Customer facing ability, Organization skills, Compliant, Ethical Behavior, Presentation skills, Sales Pitch skills. Construction Technical knowledge is preferred.
