We’re looking for a high-energy, growth focused professional with a winning mindset, a positive attitude, and a hunter’s drive to uncover new opportunities. In this role, you’ll grow a select group of successful strategic accounts in the Label Markets while actively identifying and pursuing new business, both within existing customers and across the broader market.  You’ll collaborate with a cross-functional team to drive profitable growth through account penetration, pipeline development, and deal closure. #LI-TJ1 

 

Key Activities

 

Label market segment

  • Manage and grow key accounts by building strong relationships across functions in complex customer organizations.
  • Engage proactively through calls, virtual meetings, and onsite visits to uncover needs and deliver value.
  • Hunt for new business by identifying opportunities, launching sales campaigns, reaching decision-makers, and gathering competitive insights.
  • Lead the sales cycle with knowledgeable customer teams, ensuring clear communication and strong support.
  • Participate in strategic planning with Sales Leadership and Market Segment Teams to align on growth initiatives. 

 

Strategic market intelligence 

  • Dig deep into the label market dynamics to uncover structure, trends, and unmet needs through targeted studies and analysis.
  • Engage directly with customers and key influencers—including equipment manufacturers and material suppliers, to understand evolving expectations and market shifts.
  • Identify and pursue new opportunities by scouting emerging markets, applications, and customer segments with a hunter’s mindset.
  • Fuel innovation by helping prioritize R&D efforts and collaborating with technical service to resolve challenges quickly and effectively.

 

Qualifications/Experience

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a science-related field; technical degree preferred. Equivalent experience will be considered.
  • 8 years in territory or account management, with a strong record of success in competitive environments.
  • Experience in the chemical or adhesive markets, either directly or indirectly, is highly valued.
  • Positive, proactive, and “can-do” attitude with a winning mentality and strong desire to pursue new business opportunities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences and situations.
  • Strong ability to analyze and present data effectively for both customer-facing and internal use.
  • Flexible, dynamic, and open-minded, with a willingness to embrace change and drive innovation.
  • Skilled in building long-term, value-based customer relationships through effective negotiation.
  • Must be based in the Midwest or Northeast 
  • Ability to travel 40–60%
