OEM Technical Services Representative Job

We are seeking a Technical Services Representative to provide hands-on technical support for Bostik’s OEM and professional channel customers across the Americas region, with a primary focus on the soft / resilient flooring industry.
Reporting to the Technical Service Director, this role serves as a key technical liaison between customers, Sales and R&D, ensuring products perform to specification through testing, field trials, training, benchmarking, and on-site support. The role requires a strong understanding of flooring installation practices, the ability to conduct hands-on testing and evaluations, and the skill to translate technical findings into clear written reports and recommendations.
About the role:
As an OEM Technical Services Representative, you’ll contribute to the Group’s success by:
- Managing bond testing and adhesive studies with the OEM’s products
- Evaluating and field trialing R&D formulations for new product development
- Managing all OEM-related inspections, job site visits, and technical inquiries
- Collaborating with Sales and R&D teams, while representing Bostik professionally with key customers
Key skills and qualifications to succeed in the role:
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in the flooring industry (including previous background in flooring installation)
- HS diploma required, with post-HS technical school degree preferred
- Flooring inspection and installation courses preferred
- Ability to perform safe work practices aligned with OSHA, EPA, and Bostik EHS standards, as well as travel outside of local territory multiple times per year
