JUNIOR OFFICER - STORES Job

Required Qualification & Experience

Education: Bachelor’s Degree (any discipline), Commerce preferred.

Experience: 4–5 years in warehouse operations, preferably with SAP environment exposure and internal logistics expertise.

Job Dimension

• Warehouse Operations: Coordinate with Production, Quality Control (QC), and Sales teams to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Professional Attributes: Ethical, resourceful, self-motivated, and diligent in managing SAP-based Finished Goods and Raw Material stores.
• Logistics Expertise: Hands-on experience in all aspects of internal logistics functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Required Profile

· Plant Safety Performance: Achieve objectives with LTIR & TRIR = 0 (Zero Lost Time Injury Rate & Total Recordable Incident Rate).

· Inventory Monitoring: Regularly monitor NPS (Non-Production Stock) and non-moving stock items.

· Material Planning: Ensure timely planning for Raw Materials (RM) and Packing Materials.

· Scrap Management: Follow up and ensure proper disposal of scrap as per schedule.

  Storage Monitoring: Maintain and monitor cold storage and ambient storage conditions effectively.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Warehouse & Inventory Management Responsibilities

· Daily Follow-up: Ensure day-to-day updates of RM, PM, and Engineering spares GRN on the same date of receipt.

· Timely Posting: Complete engineering spares posting without delay.

· Monthly Self-Audit: Conduct audits with Production & Maintenance departments form, PM and spares every month.

· Safety Training: Provide PPE-related training for contract workmen.

· FIFO Compliance: Maintain proper storage using the FIFO method.

· Safety Assurance: Zero near-miss or incidents during Loading and unloading activities.

· Scrap Disposal: Follow strict weekly scrap disposal procedures.

· Operations Oversight: Oversee receiving, warehousing, and issuing operations effectively.

· Supervision: Manage daily warehouse activities, space utilization, and product shipping.

· Safety Compliance: Ensure safety of self and laborers at all times.

· Documentation: Maintain accurate records and documentation of all warehouse activities.
