Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Planning Data Coordinator to support our plant operations. This role is responsible for accurately entering production paperwork, assisting with inventory control, and tracking material movements throughout the plant. The ideal candidate will also provide backup coverage for the Buyer position, assist with weekly reporting, and demonstrate strong proficiency in Excel and SAP.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Enter daily plant production paperwork into the system with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Maintain and monitor inventory levels; reconcile discrepancies and ensure proper documentation.
  • Create and manage process orders; record material movements within the plant.
  • Track and document rework activities, ensuring proper reporting and communication.
  • Provide support and backup coverage for the Buyer role, including placing orders and vendor communication.
  • Generate and distribute weekly production and inventory reports using SAP and Excel.
  • Collaborate with production, warehouse, and procurement teams to ensure smooth operations.
  • Identify and suggest process improvements related to data entry and inventory control.
  • Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory audits.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or higher preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in production data entry, inventory control, or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, charts).
  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or other inventory management software.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
