Job Dimension

•    All aspects of Finance for a Trading activity for 3 MUSD/year
•    All aspects of HR and payroll for the staff of the company, which has a headcount of  12 people
•    Direct supervision of 01 staff
•    Manage local application (ERP – Effect) with 10 users   
•    Internal control
•    Local legal/compliance contacts

Context & Environment

•    The position requires domestic/international travel when needed.
•    The jobholder works closely with  management team and regional and corporate finance team
•    This position has contacts with local suppliers and customers, local authorities, tax authorities, Auditors, Law firms

Accountabilities/Missions

•    Safeguard the assets of the company through an adequate internal control system
•    Ensure timely and accurate reporting for statutory and Group financial reporting
•    Ensure compliance with tax and statutory rules/laws/regulations regarding Finance and HR
•    Ensure optimal cash management to suit the company requirement at all times
•    Ensure the security and compliance of IT systems

Job Description

•    Responsible for the developing and maintaining the accounting system that is compliance with Vietnam Regulations - EFFECT
•    Ensure accuracy and reliability of all financial transactions of the company and subsequent reporting to the management
•    Manage accounting team to handle all financial, accounting and others
•    Review all journal entries for posting and general ledgers. 
•    Monitor account receivable, assuring collection of accounts  are on a timely basis
•    Review bank accounts reconciliations
•    Prepare annual budget and forecast
•    Responsible for CAPEX control and reporting
•    Prepare financial statement and management reports for local authorities, regional and corporate
•    Be responsible for audited report annually
•    Arrange yearly Board Meeting to approve annual accounts
•    Liaise effectively with Tax Authorities, Auditors and Law firms
•    Responsible for generally control of inventory and reporting 
•    Fixed cost analysis 
•    In charge of margin analysis reports 
•    Prepare all tax reports: VAT,CIT, PIT, WHT 
•    Ensure all tax payments and refund are on the due date.
•    Monitor cash requirement, cash-flow, funding, financing 
•    Review and approve all payment orders by bank
•    Manage the full spectrum of human resources and recruitment process including searching, new hire orientation, resignation,  annual performance review, compensation and benefits
•    Prepare payroll, assuring that employee are paid in accordance with company policy and Vietnam laws
•    Implement and control all benefits relating to Social Insurance, Health Insurance, Unemployment Insurance and Health care including accident insurance
•    HR Admin Applications; Eclaim, Eleave, MyCareer
•    IT local control (Users, workstations. Servers, accounting software, printers, laptops, desktop...)
•    Country internal control in charge of
•    Local legal/compliance contacts
•    Other tasked assigned by the MD and regional/Group CFO

Required Profile

•    Finance/Accounting BA. Preferably Master degree in business administration
•    At least four years’ experience of financial management, preferably in chemical industry background;
•    Good knowledge of tax system: VAT, CIT, WHT, PIT...
•    Deep understanding of local accounting system and knowledge on international accounting standards
•    Background of internal control system
•    Good communication and organizational skills, good analytical and problem-solving skills.
•    Good communication skills in Vietnamese and English.
•    Chief accountant certificate
