Chemical Operator - PMC Job

The Chemical Operator for PMC will be producing and packaging Tin Tet, Butyl and Octyl production in the 100/200 units.  They will need to troubleshoot to correct and problems with in the work area.  This is a shift position with some nights and weekends required. Activities include:

 

  • Monitor the process in the Control Room from the DCS
  • Perform field checks and operations in the field
  • Follow production recipes, procedures, and MOCs to safely manufacture quality products
  • Troubleshoot to correct problems within their work area
  • Unload raw materials from incoming sources
  • Prepare finished goods for shipment to customer
  • Accurately report on process outcomes and clearly enter manual data
  • Monitor wastwater
  • report all deviations to manager

 

The successful candidate will have:

 

  • 3+ years of manufacturing experience
  • 1+ year of experience in chemical manufacturing facility, strongly preferred
  • High school diploma
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Team player who can perform multiple tasks at one time
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with others
  • Accuracy in reporting
