Job Summary
The job involves a working knowledge of adhesives and materials, execution compliant with good laboratory practices, and effective time management.
Provide lab testing support for assigned market segment/technology with accuracy, precision, and responsiveness.
Analyze results and make conclusions with assistance from direct manager.
Create effective reports as needed with guidance from direct manager.
Comply with all safety requirements (JHAs, SOPs, PPE, Safety Training, etc.)
Ensure 5S execution and maintenance in the lab.
Aid with inventory management and other facility support activities.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities with % Breakdown:
Preparation of adhesive samples using various methods - 20%
Testing of adhesive candidate following various methods and work instructions- 50%
Data record keeping, analysis, reporting and future planning- 15%
Lab safety/ 5S/ lab, equipment, and supply maintenance/ instrument calibration-15%
Minimum Qualifications and Education Required
2 years experience working in a lab setting, 5 years preferred
Associates Degree in scientific field, Chemical Technology focus preferred
Competencies -Knowledge Skills & Abilities (KSAs)
Regarded by peers as highly capable in laboratory methods and testing.
Can create/modify tables, graphs, etc. as needed on MS Office.
Identifies problems to be solved, initiates ideas, and follows through on actions for continuous improvement.

Supports the site HES policy and complies with all regulatory and internal requirements
Participates in HES activities provided by site management and Arkema Inc. (e.g., Behavioral Base Safety, 5S, etc.)
Supports and promotes the reporting of all health, safety, environmental, near-miss, accident or injury incidents
