Pricing Manager

 

SITUATION IN ORGANISATION

This position will lead our pricing initiatives, establish a strong pricing culture, train and engage key stakeholders, and manage and improve the use of our pricing tools. Incumbent will build pricing platforms for all segments and product lines and implement specifically this model to optimize cash generation. Incumbent will drive adoption of best pricing practices, build expertise in value based pricing for the entire NA Construction organization. This position reports to the Director of Finance.

  • Ensure pricing strategies are defined, measured, executed and aligned with business goals.
  • Establish pricing governance for C&C North America

 

ACTIVITIES

  • Build pricing for value competency and strong pricing culture for C&C North America.
  • Ensure pricing strategies are defined, measured, executed and aligned with business goals.
  • Manage rebates and discount programs focusing on growth incentives and profitability.
  • Build pricing platforms using waterfall value analysis for cash & captured value and disseminate this model throughout the C&C Sales and Marketing teams. Provide a transactional pricing tool kit to sales and identify levers of profitability enhancement through pricing.
  • Work closely with product managers to harmonize pricing practices, procedures and processes.
  • Establish pricing governance through C&C North America
  • Continuously improve pricing practices
  • Develop monthly reports for pricing initiatives
  • Practice Safe work habits in accordance with OSHA, EPA guidelines, and Bostik-specific EHS expectations

 

CONTEXT AND ENVIRONMENT

The job involves working cross-functionally with all functions of the organization to strengthen the pricing culture. This role is based out of the Wauwatosa office.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Minimum of bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Marketing or related field. MBA preferred.
  • Targeted range of 5 to 7 years proven experience in Pricing Strategy and Execution, Finance or Management Consulting or related field.
  • Strong analytical and methodological skills with knowledge of pricing models and theory. Experienced background in value pricing analysis is a plus
  • Excellent organizational, planning, negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team. Strong drive.
  • Ability to work cross functionally and influence without direct authority.
  • Strong business acumen and analysis skills.
  • Ability to establish and maintain multiple priorities.
  • Creative problem solving skills.
  • Strong desire to win. Highly motivated, fast pace execution. Motivated self-starter.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Ability to travel approximately 15% of the time.
