  • Maintain and adhere to rules and guidelines within the Stocking Policies for all business units.
  • Update the rolling 12-month forecasts in ERP for finished goods for all business units for MTF Items.
  • Recommend and, for some business units, maintain MTS item quantities for finished goods items in ERP.
  • Work closely with Customers, Sales, Marketing and Customer service to make proper inventory and forecast decisions.
  • Support Demand and Supply Management to execute the S&OP process.  Use knowledge gained to make forecast adjustments.
  • Support Team Leader and Supply Chain to provide superior service to our customers as well as support company financial goals.




  • Evaluate and apply appropriate algorithmic and heuristic forecasting techniques and tools.
  • Develop, generate, and publish regular reports of forecast accuracy.  Analyze accuracy and identify improvement opportunity.  Engage appropriate stakeholders to continuously increase accuracy by optimizing forecast hierarchy, method, and process.
  • Assemble and analyze all data pertinent to creating the sales forecast (historical sales, market trends, seasonality, promotions, customer migration, product transition, NPI, and major account POS and inventory levels).
  • Recommend adjustments to forecast and inventory targets based on changes in demand and market trends.
  • Participate in Sales and Operations Planning activities.  Use knowledge gained to make proper forecast decisions.
  • Collaborate with plant buyers/planners to manage inventory related targets (safety stock, reorder point, minimum order size, etc.) that are consistent with the stocking policy.
  • Monitor SKU level inventory turns, correlate with service level and carrying cost, and recommend SKU rationalization initiative.
  • Proactively identify and implement process improvements.  Evolve and maintain documentation and standard operating procedures for demand planning processes and systems.
  • Coordinate process related requests from plants worldwide to insure that system setup complies with local requirements.
  • Cross Train with other teams to further enhance value to the organization.  Back up other team members as needed.
  • Practice good ergonomic and safe work habits in accordance with OSHA, EPA, and Bostik specific EHS guidelines.
  • Complete Puresafety training assignment on-time and in-full. Perform other duties as assigned.




  • Fast paced and competing priorities will require multi-tasking and focus on results.
  • Both 1:1 collaboration and project team environment where timely follow through with stakeholders and meeting personal commitments are important to obtain optimum result and meet deadlines.
  • Intensive data gathering and analysis; process improvement; and problem solving techniques.
  • Heavy use of computer software, both PC based and enterprise system, combined with frequent interpersonal communication.
  • Disciplined data governance focusing on end-to-end business processes and the required analysis of data.




  • Create and maintain forecast models and Stocking Levels, incorporating business intelligence and information gathered from customers, sales, and marketing.  The forecast is used to ensure superior customer service while balancing company financial goals.
  • Essential to deliver effective demand planning decisions by communicated deadlines.
  • Adherence to industry standards and government regulations including but not limited to ISO 9001-2008.




  • Bachelor degree in business or supply chain fields and/or a minimum of 5 years work experience in forecasting 500+ sku's in a manufacturing environment.
  • Solid background in supply chain, master scheduling, procurement and S&OP a big plus.  APICS CPIM certification highly desirable.
  • Advanced Level of Excel, Word, database and web based skills. Knowledge and work experience of SAP and enterprise labeling software are highly preferred. Proven analytical and data mining skills.  Strong data driven, problem solving skills are also important.
  • Strong verbal, written, persuasive, conflict management skills. Ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Query, Data Collection, Trend Analysis experience necessary.
  • Working knowledge of key inventory performance metrics - turns, sleeping inventory, holding cost, margin contributions, etc.
  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001:2008 and industry standards is a big plus.
