Mission Details

Our Global Nonwovens division which serves customers active in the field of disposable hygiene articles such as Baby Diapers is recruiting a Key Account Technical Service Manager in EMEA. This position could be home office based our preferably located in our R&D center in Compiegne, France.

Owner of the technical relationship between Bostik and key accounts in the EMEA region, the Technical Service Manager is responsible for:

  • Driving the technical activities and building trusting sustainable relationships with the customer and other market players in the field of disposable hygiene products.
  • Partnering with his/her commercial peer and global technical & sales team to define, execute and regularly update the account strategy to drive profitable growth in the region.
  • Managing the technical projects aiming the recommendation of Bostik bonding solutions and their qualification on the customers' lines. Leading technical problem resolution, major technologies include HMPSA. Working within Bostik cross-functionally and across our various technical teams to provide a consistent, positive customer experience.
  • Maintaining knowledge of customer applications, processes, products and needs.
  • Organizing and conducting technical trainings both externally and internally.
  • Representing Bostik technical interests at industry associations and trade shows..
  • Practicing safe work habits in accordance with EHS standards and Bostik specific expectations.
Required Profile
  • Master's degree in polymer science, materials science or related fields with proven experience in performance and thermo-fusible material processing modeling. A PhD in the related field would be a plus.
  • Significant experience in a technical role in the Chemical or Disposable Hygiene industry or related industries will also be valued.
  • Experience working directly with customers and analyzing their needs, ideally in a multi-regional or global organization.
  • Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Aptitude for understanding and influencing business strategies and customer value creation.
  • Ability to travel, including internationally.
  • Fluent in English and German
