ACTIVITIES
Distribution & Customer Support: Plan, attend and support Bostik distributors and sales teams by means of
trade mornings, staff training seminars, supplier roadshows, exhibitions & sales meetings. The role involves direct 
communication, by telephone, email and face to face with a wide range of distributors & customers, so good 
interpersonal skills are required. The ability to work solo and as a team is desirable. Liaising with other 
manufacturers to keep up to date with changes in the industry will form part of the role.
Training: To create and deliver both theoretical & practical seminars at the Bostik Academy, or external venues 
when required. Including product training for customers, tradeshow demonstrations and other interested parties. 
Participation in training & installation videos to be used for internal & external clients. Full ongoing training will be 
provided where required.
Technical Support: Provide technical support on all aspects of Bostik S&B products through application and
clear usage guidance. Functions may include testing, complaint analysis, product application trials and 
evaluations. Evaluate potential new products for the UK market. A positive and inquisitive approach to provide 
solutions is required.
Reporting: To include complete documented reports of tasks carried out, such as product evaluations, testing 
etc. This shall be conducted in a standardised agreed format within the Sealing & Bonding technical department.
Where appropriate follow up testing of products liaising with Bostik Laboratory and, if required, external test 
houses. A monthly report will form part of your reporting duties along with completion of a task and activity log.
Internal Support: This will include attendance to internal meetings, product support and ability to deliver 
demonstrations of required products and/or systems. Provide clear guidance/advice to Bostik marketing dept. in 
relation to technical information including datasheets, product brochures, application videos and other supporting 
media. Ongoing support for S&B steering unit, which may include product evaluation and advice. Working within 
the technical support team you will be required also to attend and participate in industry committee meetings as 
and when required.
The role will require excellent self-motivation and time management. It will on occasions involve work outside of 
normal office hours and will require frequent overnight stays away from home & limited overseas travel.

Reporting directly to the Technical Manager Sealing & Bonding. 


QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
A full UK driving license is required. Experience of Sealing & Bonding products in a technical capacity are 
required.
