Job Description

Arkema High Performance Polymers Business Unit is inviting qualified applicants to an open position of Regional Business Development Manager based in Singapore.

Arkema is building the biggest integrated bio-factory in the world dedicated to high performance polymers in Jurong Island, Singapore. This plant will commence manufacture Amino 11 and its flagship Rilsan® Polyamide 11 high performance polymer in first half 2022.

Rilsan® polyamide 11 is derived from castor oil, 100% based on biogenic carbon. Its toughness, lightness, durability and versatility are sought after for some of the most demanding applications found in the consumer electronics, sports, 3D printing and electrical vehicle as replacement for metal and rubber.


The selected candidate will lead and manage a team in business development activities (prospection, development and commercialization) in the fast growing South East Asia, India and Oceania countries. Establish the business development strategy in these markets based on various market inputs, intelligence and trends.

Enthusiastic, dynamic and ability to operate effectively within a global and culturally diverse community of professionals are essential characteristics. Skill, capability to drive the team effectively as well as self-motivated to deliver results are key qualities sought after.



Required Profile

Applicants should possess a bachelor degree or higher academic qualification in science and engineering faculties with at least 5 years working experience in technical support/ business development/ project management role in the engineering polymers domain.
