Job dimension and main tasks

The jobholder is in charge of LMR Thiochemicals and specialties ( Hydrazine, Solvents, Amines) customer portfolio and manage Key Accounts at European level. Main markets: Oil & gas, Polymers, coating, agrochemicals, pharmachemicals, water treatment, distribution

The main activities are:

  • Visit regulary main customers. Maintain old references and develop new customers in the area. Build strong relationships with them promoting ARKEMA & its product range. Expected to be 50-70% of his time on the field with 20 visits/month as a goal, in line with annual visit program. Provide systematic short & synthetic call reports in Salesforce together with weekly highligthts & monthly report.
  • Maximize ARKEMA’s interest in negociations with customers. Implement all possible price increases, invoice services and surcharges, following management guidelines, 
  • Accountable for achieving sales objectives in line with budget. Grow cumulated margin, year after year.
  • Supervise the sales process from the order till delivery of the products and the payment at due date.
  • Establish market analysis and perform regular benchmarking on competition. Update Market Insight in Salesforce.
  • Ensure customer service representative systematically continuously updated with price agreements, volumes commitments and any relevant customer data. Means: contacts, calls, CRM, PICASO. Also set the systematic 3 months rolling forecast
  • Implement Arkema policy in terms of HSE on our deliveries our products to all customers in the area, making sure all customers are fully aware of any restrictions, rules and material safety data sheets of our products.
  • Push for full truck or full container shipments to optimize costs. Invoice service fees.

Required Profile

  • Technical background in chemical engineering or chemistry. Minimum BSC level together with Business education
  • Senior experience in sales of commoditiy/specialty chemicals
  • Perfect command of written and spoken Italian, English, Spanish
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, negotiation and sales – closing skills

Good level of computer skills ( Microsoft Office, Salesforce, PowerBI)
