The Business & Transformation Manager will report to the General Manager, Organic Peroxides AMAS and will lead the Task Force America Rebound (TAFAMAR) initiative, driving the project to Gate 4 with a primary focus on optimizing the AMAS P&L. This role is pivotal in validating operational feasibility for proposed scenarios and identifying additional solutions to enhance the manufacturing footprint in alignment with market dynamics and competitive pressures. Travel up to 50-60%. 

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Tafamar P&L Strategic Management (40%)
    • Manage the P&L for Tafamar scenarios: revenue, margin and EBITDA by validating feasibility of all underlying hypotheses, including:
      • Logistics and warehousing
      • Product transfers and yield improvements
      • Raw material cost optimization
      • Manufacturing footprint reduction or expansion
    • Ensure all analyses meet Gate 4 level of detail.
    • Coordinate with global functions (Management, Finance, Logistics, Manufacturing) to validate financial assumptions and ensure alignment.
  • Business development (40%)
    • Collaborate with New Business Development Manager to generate leads and assess their maturity and value for integration into Tafamar scenarios.
    • Cultivate a product development pipeline for existing and new customers across current and emerging markets.
  • Alternate Tafamar P&L creation (10%)
    • Identify and develop to Gate 4 alternate scenarios that deliver additional value through:
      • Asset rationalization
      • Product line rationalization
    • Explore opportunities for expansion and acquisition to strengthen market position.
  • Industry & Market Knowledge (10%)
    • Monitor competitive landscape and downstream market dynamics.
    • Formulate and integrate response strategies into the Tafamar plan to maintain competitive advantage.

 

Years of Experience and Education:

  • 10+ years of experience in chemical/technical sales or business management, P&L management.
  • Experience with Organic Peroxides preferred
  • BA or BS degree (Sales, Marketing, Chemistry, Engineering, or related discipline)

  • Supports the site HES policy and complies with all regulatory and internal requirements
  • Participates in HES activities provided by site management and Arkema Inc.(e.g., Behavioral Base Safety, etc.)
  • Supports and promotes the reporting of all health, safety, environmental, near- miss, accident or injury incidents

 

Hybrid position (present at an Arkema site at least 3 days/week).  May occasionally require working additional hours outside of normal workday/workweek to meet certain deadlines throughout the year.
