Job Description:

This position performs all tasks associated with the production of product from material staging, operation of equipment, in-process testing, and packaging. This position utilizes both manual and automated systems along with analytical results to monitor and adjust the process, as needed, to produce a consistent, in specification product. 

Daily Activities:

Daily Operations (70 %) 

 • Perform raw material staging for batches.

• Operate production vessels, including batch reactors and blenders

• Use automated and manual process controls to adjust process parameters

• Package finished products in drums and IBCs

• Complete batch sheets, logbooks and other records neatly and accurately.

• Sample batches and perform in-process Quality Control testing.

• Perform other duties or training as required or requested.

Additional Duties and Functions (30 %)

• Demonstrate mechanical aptitude by performing minor maintenance.

• Identify, troubleshoot, and diagnose equipment and process issues.

• Complete required safety training. 

 

Qualifications:

Good communications skills in English, both written and verbal.

• Good mechanical aptitude

• Good troubleshooting abilities.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

• Ability to work independently.

• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and support other departments.

• Exhibit good judgement, dependability, initiative and a positive attitude. 

• Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent.

• 3+ years of chemical environment experience.

• Ability to work rotating shifts, overtime, or other hours as required.

• Experience in forklift operation.

• Ability to perform physical essentials (climb stairs and/or ladders, lift up to 50 pounds, wear FRC uniforms, wear full face respirator occasionally)
