Production Manager

JOB TITLE:

Production Manager (Salary Range: $96,500 - $145,000 pending experience)

JOB LOCATION:

Paulsboro, NJ

JOB SUMMARY:

The Production Manager oversees daily production operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant manufacturing while leading supervisors and operators to achieve site objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage production resources to meet operational objectives.
  • Develop and execute EHS programs to achieve zero safety/environmental incidents.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, PSM (where applicable), and Bostik EHS expectations.
  • Create and manage daily production schedules.
  • Develop staff capabilities to support operational goals.
  • Measure and improve operational efficiency continuously.
  • Coordinate production activities with Purchasing, Logistics, and Maintenance departments.
  • Ensure all required EHS and Quality training is completed for team members.
  • Enforce compliance with company policies and best practices.
  • Coordinate with Corporate EHS, Sales & Marketing, Customer Service, HR, and Supply Chain.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION/TECHNICAL SKILLS/BEHAVIORAL SKILLS:

  • BS or MS in Engineering or related discipline.
  • 5–10 years experience in supervision, operations management, or engineering.
  • 3–5 years experience in project management, process engineering, and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead effectively in a team environment.
  • Adaptable to change and capable of leading change.
  • Experience with Lean or Six Sigma manufacturing principles.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION/TECHNICAL SKILLS/BEHAVIORAL SKILLS:

Experience with large‑scale manufacturing systems and enterprise systems; strong leadership and continuous improvement background.

REPORTING STRUCTURE:

Reports to Plant Manager. Oversees three Production Supervisors and associated operators.

WORKPLACE TYPE:

On‑site manufacturing environment; approximately 35% of time on the production floor.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

Minimal travel required; may include occasional business‑related travel.
