Mission Details

 

  • To ensure all the QA laboratory activities is in compliance with the company’s HSEQ procedure and meeting company strategies and objectives.
  • Responsible for the control of the activities of the QA laboratory in an efficient and cost effective manner.
  • Responsible for developing effective laboratory management systems that include workload prioritizing, overtime allocation, good housekeeping, laboratory inventory control, analytical equipment maintenance, minimizing laboratory waste generation and disposal.
  • Set up and maintain the highest standard of QA laboratory quality system such as to ensure raw materials and finished goods meet specification, technical competence of QA laboratory staff and analytical results.
  • Carry out laboratory scale blending, issue work-off recommendation and seek the approval from management and President for write-off if not workable.
  • Establish new specification, new testing method, set shelf life and work with purchasing on evaluation of for new product and new raw material.
  • Monitoring the polymer content and inhibitor content of all monomers in storage tanks.
  • Maintain and carry out periodic calibration of lab equipment for four laboratories.
  • Assist technical service on testing normal property of competitor’s sample.

 

Required Profile

  • Degree in Chemistry or other Science disciplines from a recognized Institution.
  • Preferably with minimum of 1 year of working experience.
  • Technical related work experience in a chemical or manufacturing plant laboratory.
  • Good knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 management system
  • Conversant in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Proficiency in computer applications (Microsoft Office Applications; i.e. Outlook, Excel, Words, Powerpoint, etc).
  • Mature with good interpersonal skill and able to work independently.
  • Without color blindness problem.
