Mission Details

  • Involve directly and indirectly in plant audits (AIMS, IMS, ICA, AsCARE and etc.)
  • Monitor and control Reoccurrence Maintenance Expenses. Report on monthly basis.
  • Conduct Root Cause Analysis, investigation for equipment breakdown and incident.
  • Involve in Continuous Improvement project and activity in the plant. In example energy saving.
  • Ensure Spare Part management system in place. No interruption to plant production and safety. Follow the VIS process.
  • Execute and ensure plant project follow the ATOGATE process and Isotarget requirement. 
  • Execute Plant Turnaround in safe manner, within budget and within timeline.
  • Execute Maintenance activity follow the plant policy.
  • Ensure maintenance program robust to reduce equipment breakdown and increase productivity.
  • Establish program to replace aging equipment and upgrade plant facility.
  • Taking a good care of all equipment in the plant.
  • Submit monthly report and update KPIs scorecard on time.
  • Ensure training plan is in place and execute accordingly. Especially on competency and certification.
  • Monitoring Energy Performance Indicators (EPI). Projection of future consumption on Energy.
  • As a member of IMS and ISRS steering committee, to continually contribute to improve the effective implementation and maintenance of integrated management system with no disruption of management standard certification, namely ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001. 
  • Involve in HSE Committee member to address issues pertaining to HSE, Security to ensure mitigation measures are in place to prevent any incident or prevent any recurrence.
  • Loss control responsibilities:
  • Take reasonable care for health and safety of himself and of other persons, to cooperate with superior, to wear or use personal protective equipment provided as appropriate and to comply health and safety instruction as stipulated under Section 24 OSHA 1994 and undertake the following loss control responsibilities;
    1.            Identify the potential hazards, gains and the possible improvement
    2.            Report the HSE near-misses, unsafe acts, and unsafe conditions to superior
    3.            Report the HSE incident, accidents to superior
    4.            Compliant with the policies, legal regulations, Arkema requirements, rules and procedures of one's 
                   sector applying to HSE
  • Establish Preventive Maintenance Program for all equipment in the plant.
  • Ensure Contractor Management System follow by team and all contractor working inside the plant.
  • Update the Maintenance activity file. Keep the record up to date.
  • Keep a good record keeping for inspection data (PMD, PMA, PMT) as per Department of Occupational Safety & Health (DOSH) requirement. Work collaboratively with HSE team and Production team.
  • Lead department’s risk assessment & HAZOP follow up action and review effectiveness of control measures.    
  • Ensure all meeting rituals rigorously follow by team members. 
  • Work collaboratively with Arkema Engineering team, APOC MI and etc.
  • Involve and support CSR program.

Required Profile

  • Degree in Engineering with relevant working experience in a chemical unit operation or at least 10 years of maintenance experience and managerial level.
  • Strong knowledge in requirement handling project (with local authority, consultant, contractor and vendor)
  • Good interpersonal communication skill
  • Good managerial and leadership ability.
  • Strong knowledge in ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management system
  • Strong knowledge in maintenance program i.e. Preventive Maintenance Program and Project Management (Engineering/Civil & Construction) and etc.
