Assistant Process Technician Job

Mission Details

•    Assist Process Technician to perform in-process control to ensure that output, quality, standard and specification are achieved in order to meet customer satisfaction and to achieve company/ departmental HSEQ objectives and targets. 
•    Carrying out manufacturing process for upstream (receiving of raw materials to charging process) and downstream ( in-process adjustment, final dilution, filtration and packaging process) to ensure the product specifications and quality target are achieved. 
•    Carry out rework activity, recycling of used solvents and off-spec resins as advised in order to minimize waste 
•    Ensure that operating orders from the superior are carried out in a safe, effective and efficient manner, in accordance with company and departmental HSEQ objectives and target.
•    Ensure that work instruction, working procedures are followed in order to ensure work is carried out smoothly and minimal disruptions.
•    Assists in troubleshooting of abnormal batch in order to prevent recurrence of abnormality.
•    Carry out housekeeping to ensure work place is generally safe, clean and tidy at all time.
•    Take reasonable care for health and safety of himself and of other persons, to cooperate with superior, to wear or use personal protective equipment provided as appropriate and to comply health and safety instruction as stipulated under Section 24 OSHA 1994 and undertake the following loss control responsibilities;
1.    Identify the potential hazards, gains and the possible improvement
2.    Report the HSEQ near-misses, unsafe acts, and unsafe conditions to superior or HSE personnel.
3.    Report the HSEQ incident, accidents to superior or HSE personnel.
4.    Compliant with the policies, legal regulations, Arkema requirements, rules and procedures of one's sector applying to HSEQ.

Required Profile

•    Diploma / certificate / STPM or equivalent
•    Fairly good in spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia.
•    Fairly good in simple mathematics.
•    Knowledge of safe forklift operation.
