Maintenance & Engineering Process Specialist
This position is in the Reliability Department and reports directly to the Maintenance & Reliability Manager.
This role works closely with Maintenance, Engineering, Procurement, and Production personnel.
Job dimensions
The M&E Specialist is responsible for providing work process support for maintenance, reliability, and warehouse. In addition, the specialist oversees the engineering support procedures, P&IDs and Adept Admin duties.
Key Activities and responsibilities
Major responsibilities for the M&E Specialist include but are not limited to the following:
- Track the $1 MM + monthly budget including monthly accruals. 10%
- Perform cost tracking duties for all pit stops and reporting. 10%
- Generate the monthly maintenance KPI report including a verification step. 10%
- Oversee the maintenance services workflow to GR invoices. 10%
- Manage MTC annual purchase orders including creation and updating. 10%
- Perform equipment BOM updates and SAP material creation. 10%
- Accountable for P&ID and equipment drawings document control at the Clear Lake site. 10%
- Perform administrative duties for Adept including uploading, troubleshooting, and updating. 10%
- Perform document control activities to ensure technical drawings are up to date and accurate (P&IDs, I&E loop sheets, isometrics, etc) using AutoCAD. 10%
- Develop and maintain custom solutions for the maintenance and reliability team. 10%
Other Duties as Assigned:
- Enter purchase requisitions.
- Provide maintenance and engineering SAP reports.
- Perform SAP training.
- Perform data entry into SAP for time and reason codes.

- Supports and promotes the reporting of all health, safety, environmental, near-miss, accident or injury incidents

Required Education/Qualifications /Work experience
- High school diploma. Technical education / certification preferred.
- 2+ years of supporting industrial plant work processes.
- Intermediate skill in the use of SAP for Plant Maintenance, Materials Management, and Project Systems.
- Intermediate skill in the use of AutoCAD.
- Familiar with Management of Change (MOC).
- Familiar with technical drawings.
- Intermediate skills in MS Excel (Lookup Formulas, Pivot Tables, PowerQuery)
- Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Power BI
