PURPOSE
- Ensuring the implementation of ARKEMA's Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement program at plant level.
- Contribute to the development of the skills of the actors involved in Operational Excellence.
CONTEXT AND ENVIRONMENT
- APOC, a region with high growth and with different cultures / religions and political systems with ongoing or advance regulatory frame.
- Support the growth of Arkema in APOC for Operational Excellence improvements.
- 2 major plants located in the region (Kerteh, Singapore) as well as the downstream facilities (Bostik, ACR,FA)
Travel to APOC sites as necessary.
Scope
- Leads the implementation of Lean Six Sigma, Continuous Improvements across the sites in APOC.
- Responsible for deployment of manufacturing Operational Excellence (OE) in all plants and related improvements
- Ensure local alignment with the group manufacturing OE strategy & priorities.
- Ensure effective sustainable networks.
Activities
- Manage and animate Continuous Improvement Leaders Community ( Plant CI Champions) & quality leaders in APOC.
- Lead / animate local networks and participate to Global Arkema network meetings.
- Responsible to deploy, organize and manage corporate Programs and networks such as:
Lean Six Sigma, Green Belt, Black Belt, Yellow Belt - Trainings & coaching. - Developing OpEx. savings projects pipeline along with CI Champions and monitoring it in Quimeo tool.
- Support SMART by developing & implementing Problem solving trainings.
- Drive and Ensure region progress through the following KPIs according to corporate ones:
YI, PR ,CUE , COPQ,Off spec, OEE,NPS,FC Savings, VC Savings… - Act as BPO for EDMS deployment & support other digital tools deployment across the region.
Required Profile
- Bachelor degree or above, preferably in Chemical Engineering or related.
- Minimum 10 years experiences in Manufacturing, Operations, Process Engineering in Chemical Industry.
- Lean Six Sigma Trained and preferentially a certified Green Belt / Black belt Leader.
- Strong motivation to work in a challenging environment.
- Versatile and flexible team player with good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a cross-functional manner.
- Rigor and tenacity, capacity for commitment.
- Ability to work independently.
