Working closely with cross-functional Business Unit teams, corporate Communication teams and International Communication teams, the Communications Manager will be responsible for managing the ArrMaz brand and leading the development and implementation of the overall communications strategy for the company.

 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Communications Strategy - Works closely with Business Unit Leaders to develop and implement a comprehensive communications strategy that aligns with the business unit’s overall business strategy.
  • Innovative communications – Develop and implement different communication channels to deliver information to both internal and external clients.
  • Analyze Market Effectiveness – Develop, implement and monitor strategy effectiveness and be able to quickly adapt to the changing market conditions.
  • Brand Management – Develops and executes effective strategic plans to support, grow and reinforce the ArrMaz brand. Ensures consistent application of the brand across all mediums and marketing materials, including the proper application of logos, themes, visuals, slogans and messaging.
  • Reputation Management – Ensure website and other communication material/content is consistent and in alignment with the Arkema brand and company mission statement.
  • Promotional Tools and Materials – Manages the development and production of all promotional tools and materials to support the current marketing strategy while promoting the ArrMaz brand. Develops innovative ways to communicate marketing messages. Creates compelling promotional copy; oversees the design and production of marketing materials including brochures, technical data sheets, presentations, reports, print and digital advertising, and web and video-based content; manages the company’s social media presence.
  • Multimedia delivery – Working with subject matter experts, develop, execute, and manage a schedule of webinars to support product expert knowledge as industry leaders in the world market.
  • Advertising/Communications – Works closely with Industry Business Development Managers to implement advertising and communications strategies to reach specific target markets and audiences.  Monitors and reports on key performance indicators and evaluates the return on investment (ROI) of all promotional activities towards meeting overall advertising/communications objectives.
  • Public Relations – Works with all business units to develop and implement media strategies and manages media requests. Maintains effective business relationships with media. Prepares and distributes press releases to media outlets. Monitors and documents competitor and industry press releases and announcements. Works with corporate communication team coordinating public relations issues. 
  • Trade Shows – Working with business leaders; identifies, coordinates, organizes, and implements trade show participation to support all business units and help achieve business objectives. Monitors budgeted cost allocations for trade show expenses.  Ensures that our trade show presence is effectively represented and aligned with our marketing strategy.
  • New Product Launches – Works closely with business unit leaders and Business Development Managers to launch new products in the market. Manages the development of product launch, campaign plans and materials.
  • Communications Budget – Develops and manages the marketing communications budget and ensures that ArrMaz is maximizing its return on investment (ROI) for its marketing communications budget.
  • Sales Support – Develops and manages the production of internal sales materials to help Account Managers sell effectively and efficiently. Communicates market research data in understandable formats that provide practical information to the Sales team.
  • External Agencies – Negotiates and manages our relationships with all external communications vendors including advertising agencies, developers, designers, photographers, video production companies, trade publications etc.
  • Management – Effectively trains and manages our marketing communications personnel. Can drive strategic plans to tactical implementation and hold team accountable to deliver results.

 

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • A four-year degree in Marketing or Communications, MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years’ experience working in strategic marketing communications or brand management roles in business-to-business (B2B) environments.
  • Experience working with global, multicultural organization(s) preferred.
  • Experience managing others for success.
  • Experience building and implementing marketing communication strategies with a proven track record of successful implementation and execution of the plan.
  • Must be able to provide a portfolio of prior work.

  • Photography skills preferred
