Job Description

Organization

  • Strengthen and optimize the financial processes and contribute to the process improvement outside finance whenever it results in higher reliability of financial data
  • Optimize the organization of the finance department and prepare a future organization evolution with the regional shared service centre. 

Accounting and taxes

  • Ensure the proper preparation and timely production of financials (balance sheets, profit and loss report, cash-flow report and all the associated attachments) complying with the local GAAP, the tax requirements and the IFRS for consolidation purpose.
  • Explain and justify the financials to the external auditors.
  • Ensure compliance with transfer pricing rules

Treasury and cash

  • Ensure the proper management of the cash according to the Group’s policy
  • Control the foreign exchange risk
  • Establish and maintain clear and close relationships with the banks
  • Update and constantly upgrade the cash management tools

Internal control

  • Make sure an internal control framework is constantly updated and available for all the stakeholders
  • Make sure that the internal control rules cover the main risks of the company: credit, stock value, impairment, taxes, payments, shipments, etc.
  • Through regular reviews, make sure the controls are properly understood and executed, and formalized
  • Ensure that Delegations of Authority and segregation of duties are in place at company level

Performance analysis

  • Cooperate functionally with the Business Units
  • Functionally oversee the Business Units financial and performance analysts (business, plant controllers)
  • Make available accurate financial data and metrics, at the right level of granularity, to analyse business performance and trends
  • Actively contribute to improvement plans such as cash generation, fixed costs, pricing policy, purchase policy

Projects

  • Contribute to all of the company’s project such as but not limited to information systems revamp, M&A,SSC integration, manufacturing footprint streamline.

Legal

  • Handle the legal affairs of the company

Insurance

  • Identify risk and make sure that the company is properly insured; raise & manage claims when necessary
  • Company Secretary:
  • Handle corporate secretarial issues to comply with Group and local regulations
  • Hold as required official company roles such as Company Secretary and Official Office Holder for required government

Required Profile

  • 10+ years experience as a senior financial leader in an global business (manufacturing/sales organisational experience preferred)
  • Experience in presenting business and financial reporting/analysis at Board Level
  • Experience in managing managers and teams
  • Experience is ERP & excellent handling of MS office tools Process improvement and culture change within large organisations
  • Registered CPA (not compulsory)
