Situation in organization

Reports directly to Manager, Talent Acquisition and On-Boarding

 

Position Overview:

Reporting to the Manager, Talent Acquisition and On-Boarding, this person will work closely with all levels of Management and HR Partners across the Arkema Group in North America to manage the sourcing, recruiting, and hiring of talent to supply the organizations current and future needs, with a strong focus on Manufacturing / Operations roles, including high level roles such as Plant Management, Site Engineering, and HES Site Management.

The Talent Acquisition Operations Lead offers guidance and tools to the remote locations including assigned recruitment responsibility for select high level Manufacturing / Operations positions across the U.S. The successful candidate will operate in a forward thinking mode, proactively developing talent pipelines and engaging passive talent.

 

Activities

Talent Acquisition

  • Responsible for assisting and coordination of the Staffing strategy and practices that support the Arkema Group Human Capital needs. Meet with hiring managers to discuss open positions. Source and identify viable candidates for job openings. Recommend suitable talent attraction and sourcing strategies. Responsible to screen and submit initial qualified talent.  40%
  • Improve processes, technologies, and techniques to assist hiring managers or HR partners in the selection process. Identify, utilize, and develop methods that most effectively source qualified candidates. 20%
  • Manage the attraction, sourcing and engagement of qualified candidates, recommending best practices for hiring manager selection.
  • Manage, maintain, and enhance the value added use of the applicant tracking system (SuccessFactors): become power user/administrator for our Applicant Tracking System.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key sourcing vendors, including: Executive Search Firms, Temporary Agencies, Universities and Technical Schools, etc. 
  • Lead TA related webinars and best practice sharing regarding our recruitment tools and processes with all key stakeholders to include the broader HR community and hiring managers.

On-boarding

  • Suitably familiar with onboarding practices and tools to participate and serve as backup where relevant.

 

Context and environment

This position operates under the general direction of the Talent Acquisition and On-Boarding Manager. The role sits within the Human Resources department, under Talent Acquisition and functions as a strategic partner to the broader HR Group across sites. This role leads and supports HR TA initiatives aligned with the company’s overall business strategy. This is a hybrid position, King of Prussia.

 

Accountabilities

  • Accountable for the prioritization of talent acquisition actions aligned to Group critical business needs.
  • Ensures Talent Acquisition activities are conducted in a manner consistent with Group culture and compliance practices while ensuring a professional, engaging candidate experience in accordance with applicable Group policies and national, state, and local statutes.
  • Accountable for continuous process improvement in the various processes under his/her control.
  • Accountable to determine, track, and make decisions based on metrics as defined within Talent Acquisition processes.
  • Accountable to ensure applicants progressed to candidate consideration meet appropriate minimum standards for employment.
  • Accountable for establishing, maintaining, building and leverage broad internal and external Talent Acquisition relationships, serving as an ambassador for the Group.

 

Qualifications / experience required

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or job related field with five years of talent acquisition related experience preferred.
  • Strong functional knowledge of sourcing and recruitment practices and tools.
  • Experience in technical recruitment, enabling successful Manufacturing/Operational assessment of talent.
  • Manufacturing, Engineering, and/or related Operational recruitment experience preferred.
  • Strong ability to analyze data and recommend effective strategies.
  • Exhibit creative problem solving skills, driven by strong verbal and written communication.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop strong consultative relationships at all levels with key stakeholders; Managers, HR Partners, Peers, Vendors and the like.
  • Developed career track record as a valued, collaborative team member.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate ideas, influence actions, and deliver positive outcomes through collaborative work practices.
  • Recruitment certifications and/or SPHR/PHR certification preferred.
