Supply Chain Specialist Job

The Supply Chain Specialist masters Supply Chain tools to optimize S&OP process through inventory modeling, planning and associated logistics planning, where applicable. Supports and drives implementation of enhanced processes and Supply Chain tools.  This position reports through the Supply Chain organization to the S&OP Manager.  It has no direct reports.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Support Supply Chain Operations for Fluorospecialties plants, tolling operations, and import of product, including:

  • Use Supply Chain tools and advanced modeling techniques to calculate appropriate inventory levels, optimize processes
  • Perform tasks associated with equipment fleet coordination, product reclaim, provide analysis and identify cost reduction opportunities
  • Validate and process vendor invoices
  • Serve as NAFTA coordinator and work with SC leadership to complete product label reviews as required
  • Work with customer service to manage the customer complaint process up to and including resolution
  • Execute tolling activities as defined by Supply Chain Manager
  • Utilizing the SC SMART KPIs, track/analyze various supply chain performance indicators, identify trends and escalate to SC leadership
  • Participate in short/mid-term Supply Chain projects and complete assigned tasks
  • Responsible for master data integrity: creation / change / obsoleting requests
  • Coordinate and participate in customer audits as required
  • Oversees the logistics strategy and execution for railcar, iso tank and tank truck fleet management

 

Support the Sales and Operations Planning, Execution Process by managing the following activities:

  • Convert forecast to a supply/stock replenishment plan (domestic/global) and align equipment
  • Prepare demand review using appropriate forecasting tools
  • Convert the validated sales forecast into a stock replenishment program (domestic/international)
  • Monitor inventory quality KPI & develop inventory action plans for reduction of subprime inventory
  • Execute weekly sales report highlighting month to date performance and lead Weekly S&OP, partnering with plant to optimize production plan
  • Supports the Latam S&OP process, by developing a rolling 12 month integrated plan, identifying and resolving key imbalances and utilizing Picaso to implement 

 

Support Supply Chain initiatives and reporting, including digitalization:

  • Support the implementation of processes and tools for SC activities and drive adoption of digital initiatives, reporting and process/performance improvements
  • Support the scale-up and commercialization of new products
  • Optimize swaps and trading agreements
  • Assist in the implementation of processes and tools for improved inter-region activities as designated by the Supply Chain leadership
  • Work on Regulatory Data Reporting - etc. (EPA/CDR/REACTS etc.)
  • Provide cost analysis reporting

 

Context

  • This position is based in King of Prussia, PA. Less than 10% travel is expected
  • This position is a focal point for the business and manufacturing, and works as a liaison between Global Supply Chain, Business Managers, Customer Service, Manufacturing, Logistics, Purchasing, Finance, Marketing, Regulatory, Third Party terminals, warehouses, suppliers, competitors and carriers, etc. to optimize all aspects of the regional supply chain
  • This position leads necessary activities to ensure the operating plans can be executed and meet the commercial demands, and lead activities to resolve problems that do occur
  • Supports the site HES policy and complies with all regulatory and internal requirements
  • Participates in HES activities provided by site management and Arkema Inc. (e.g., Behavioral Base Safety, SafeStart, etc.)
  • Supports and promotes the reporting of all health, safety, environmental, near-miss, accident or injury incidents

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or Technical field          
  • 5-7 years of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics or Customer Service                                  
  • Experience in Transportation Management Systems required                                                                                   
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (intermediate Excel skill
  • Experience in SC Optimization Systems (i.e. Picaso) and system integrations
  • Proficient in Power BI Dashboards
  • APICS Certification a plus               
  • SAP including MM/PP, SD and F&P and across global ERP platforms
  • Project Management experience preferred
