ASSISTANT GENERAL COUNSEL – INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

 

JOIN A DYNAMIC AND COLLABORATIVE GLOBAL IP TEAM!

 

  • Operate in an innovative, fast-paced and collaborative organization.
  • Partner with R&D scientists and business leaders to advance our winning strategy by creating and protecting sustainable materials and solutions.
  • Maximize intellectual property assets by:  drafting high quality patent applications; executing sophisticated patent prosecution strategies; giving tactical guidance on the development, acquisition, utilization, and enforcement of global patent portfolios; and protecting new products, processes, and trade secrets.
  • Help guide regular portfolio reviews and evaluation.
  • Offer regular IP trainings and presentations.
  • Negotiate intellectual property agreements with joint development partners, major research centers, customers, and suppliers.
  • Deliver strategic IP advice for acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, financings, restructurings and grant applications.
  • Maintain close global coordination.
  • Grow our portfolio and expand your experience.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • B.S. in chemical discipline
  • Juris Doctorate
  • Admitted to practice law in PA, and registered to practice before the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in intellectual property law (patents, trademarks and trade secrets)
  • Both law firm and in-house experience preferred
