Mission Details

Primary Duties (80%) 

Creates and maintains a production schedule for entire plant. The schedule must be created and product must be available to meet demand within lead time. 

Maintains a strong working relationship with all plant personnel, internal and external customers to minimize issues and collectively address problems. 

Works closely with Customer Service and Supply Chain on supply issues. 

Maintains communication with supplier contacts to improve overall processes related to order entry, confirmation, and on-time delivery. 

Works directly with supply management to ensure correct levels of inventory according to safety stock policy and maintains SAP planning parameters. 

Works with Shipping to ensure product availability. 

Interface with plant and customer service to plan and schedule production to meet customer requirements. 

Work with operations in planning and scheduling to maximize efficiency and reduce manufacturing cost. 

 

Other duties (20%) 

Assists with Cycle Counts as needed 

Work with other plants as needed to supply intermediates in a timely manner. 

Other duties as required. 

Entering process orders 

 

Required Profile

3 years of practical experience.

Education and area of focus  

BS in a related field or AS degree, or 3 years of practical experience 

Demonstrated computer skills in SAP and Microsoft Office. 

Knowledge of materials management, supplier quality and performance requirements, understanding of the production processes and S&OP process. 

Competencies -Knowledge Skills & Abilities (KSAs) 

Ability to manage competing priorities, think critically, problem solve, and analyze information. 

Excellent personal and intracompany communication skills. 

History of strong attendance and performance. 

High level of detail and accuracy required. 

Ability to be safe, innovative, flexible, self-starting, honest and open. 

Ability to work as a member of an integrated team.
