Mission Details

Operator of the reactor manufacturing formulated adhesive products with a focus on Health, Safety and Quality. 

Follow all Health, Safety and Environmental standards and regulations as per site standard and those that are required by law. 

Ensure all policies are operating procedures are always adhered to. 

Safely operate a Forklift Truck and Reach Truck. 

Compounding and Staging of Raw Materials whilst maintaining first in first out principles. 

Handling and blending chemicals and powders. 

Discharging finished products to appropriate containers and applying correct labels. 

Taking samples and testing using lab equipment to ensure product quality. 

Maintain excellent housekeeping standards. 

Prepare equipment for maintenance activities. 

Prepare empty containers in advance. 

Wear supplied PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) in line with site standard procedures and risk assessments (including chemical suit, half-face or full-face respirator, hard hat, steel toe-capped boots etc. 

Accurately completing quality and batch documentation. 

Monday – Friday 06:00 – 14:30 (14:00 on Fridays) 

Participate in company safety meetings and training. 

Required Profile

Maintaining the schedule to ensure orders are delivered in timely manner. 

Minimising downtime and work to optimise the productivity of the plant. 

Adhering to and promoting good health and safety practices. 

Essential 

Experience working in a manufacturing environment. 

Safety focused with an eye for detail and awareness of manufacturing quality principles. 

Be willing to work shifts (including nights) and cover with frequent overtime. 

Computer literate with good maths skills 

Effective communication skills. 

Pass a pre-employment physical, drug and background check. 

Self-motivated to be able to work safely and efficiently as part of an integrated team. 

2-4 years hands on manufacturing experience (chemical manufacturing experience preferred) 

Diploma in Chemistry or Engineering discipline.
