The North America Account Manager reports to the Americas Commercial Director for Global Nonwovens GBU.

 

JOB DIMENSIONS

 

  • Key position within the AMAS NW Team located in North America
  • Responsible to maintain current business and seek for profitable growth of manufacturers of hygiene products within NA
  • Part of a global cross-functional team that includes commercial, technical, manufacturing, supply chain, R&D and quality functions. 
  • Be part of Global Account Teams as required

 

ACTIVITIES

  • Develop and execute on strategic account plans
  • Establish regional competitive dynamics and define strategies to manage the competitive situation
  • Cascade divisional and market strategies into the regional customer teams
  • Close interface with the technical managers that work with the account to identify requirements and ensuring needs are met
  • Manage the relationship network within the customer to develop an in-depth understanding of customer’s needs. Translate those needs to Bostik management, global team and appropriate technical resources in order to lead the organization in development of solutions consistent with strategies and priorities
  • Actively develop plan to conquer new business growth opportunities
  • Lead specific customer projects that will deliver growth and profit to the NA business
  • Prepare periodic business updates to include market share analysis, monthly reports, call reports and specific project updates in Sales Force.
  • Work with Marketing to identify customer needs and conduct VOC’s
  • Prepare regular forecasts that are validated with the customer planning process
  • Participate in SIOP monthly meetings
  • Practice Safe working habits, in accordance with OSHA, EPA guidelines, and Bostik’s specific EHS expectations
  • Maintain constant communication with the rest of the AMAS Commercial Team

  • Home based
  • Travel will be 50%

  • Management of CRM System(Salesforce) for accounts under responsibility

 

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Business or Technical Degree with MBA preferred            
  • 3-5 years, account management experience. B2B sales experience in chemical / industrial fields.
  • Technical Background – understanding of fundamentals of chemistry , knowledge of the hygiene industry is desirable
  • Skilled strategic thinker with a track record of results
  • Creativity
  • Excellent Interpersonal skills
  • Strong Negotiation Skills
  • Highly organized and effective prioritization skills
  • High Performance work team experience
  • Adept at complex project management, experience with international business is also desirable
  • Ability to interact with all levels of management and international peers
