Situation in organization

Support top line growth by continuously improving customer satisfaction at the right cost level by producing better products, processes & services faster and cheaper in observance of the highest safety standards

Current Corporate Initiatives include;

  •  Zero loss model; Zero waste – connected to Sustainability Roadmap
  • Lead the program and ensure a common model for Bostik
  • Support the implementation of the model in all regions through the OPEX organization
  • Support locally plants in US
  • Propose and manage a Long Term plan (5 years) agreed with GBUs


Operational Excellence:

  • Introduce and/or successfully duplicate new methodologies (Group programs, Quality Journey, Lean, Best Manufacturing Practices).
  • Promote and facilitate continuous improvement implementation in line with Arkema programs, Lean 6-sigma, transformation and cultural change (SMART).
  • Create awareness, foster decentralized capacity and capability for identifying and effecting improvements, offer guidance and support of the embedded talent that is created by the education and training program.
  • Support the improvement of the manufacturing & other process ‘efficiency with the right tools and methodologies
  • Leverage Best Manufacturing Practices (Production techniques, processes, tools, equipment, facilities, procedures, project results) across the US production plants to ensure and improve efficiency, productivity and safety
  • Enable Continuous Improvement through supporting the Lean Six Sigma roll-out in Bostik: Actively initiate, lead, engage and participate in LSS Green & Yellow Belt projects and act as sponsor/coach for Green & Yellow Belt trainees.
  • Identify Operations staff members in close coordination with business units to participate in the Green Belt training and become OPEX Champions. More importantly, ensure integration of Lean Six Sigma with sites’ initiatives and plans.





  • Business complexity: multi-GBU, multisite, multi-applications, multi-products, pioneering processes
  • The job holder must travel regularly to visit Manufacturing plants in order to work with local teams and have an updated knowledge of action plans.
  • The job holder must develop relationships with GBUs, local entities and Arkema support functions.
  • The Job holder must have leadership skills to promote his / her activities in a matrix organization.

Qualifications / experience required 

  • Chemical engineering degree or strong experience in chemical field and processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to articulate an appropriate vision and translate that into effective strategy initiatives and operational plans.
  • Ideal 5 years' experience or demonstrated success in handling substantial OPEX related transformation and change management projects.
  • Proven interpersonal/project management skills, strong analytical skill s and numerical understanding, Leadership, multitasking and decision making skill s in line with Bostik way values.
  • Effective project management mindset and behaviors to engage and enable others to deliver objectives through and with others in a sustainable fashion
  • Fluent English and ability to effectively communicate and evolve in an international environment
  • Ideal greenbelt status minimum
  • Capability of working in a matrix organization (link with corporate and GBUs functions)
  • Domestic travel is required up to 25-40% of the time (1-2 days a week or 1-2 weeks a month). No international travel is required except Mexico or Europe in special occasion.
