JOB DIMENSION

The OP Production Manager is responsible for control of all activities and personnel on his OP process unit and Maintenance work . This includes Health, Safety, Quality and Environment matters. The OP Production Manager is also responsible for ensuring that his process and personnel are able to meet the goals of set in conjunction with the Seki Arkema Plant Manager. He must manage his procedures, internal organization, goods flows, maintenance work and working areas to improve OP Process performances and productivity.

 

Main control indicators:

-  The number of Lost Time Accidents, number of pollution accident.

-  The progress of the OP Process in achieving the annual quality objectives.

-  Control of OP Process budget and Production performances, monthly overtime.

-  Grade Change time, Grade change volume, OG volume.

-  The Operational Facilities and Maintenance for OP Process.

-  % Saleable OP Products & Dilution products. Recycle of off-spec, if it is available.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • The Production Manager must be able to show initiative, and example.
  • The Production manager must be able to prioritise actions and implement ideas.
  • The Production Manager must be able to control and motivate the OP operators.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO 1

  • Controlling the production, maintenance and operation of the OP Process.
  • Reviewing and confirming the production plan, he must be a proposal strength to improve the productivity during this matter.
  • The safe and environmental operations of the sheet plant under the OHSAS 18000 and ISO 14001 system, AIMS.
  • The production of quality products under ISO 9001 system.
  • The control of recurring production expenses, follow up OP production budget, and the forecast on this issue.
  • The control of the raw material and finished product stocks.
  • The improvement of the production yield; % saleable production per grade, per month; Asset Utilization and Operational Asset Utilization;
  • Registration on production data into SAP system on time, end of month referring to Accounting Department.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO 2

  • Reporting regularly on the production results.
  • Reviewing process and quality improvements.
  • Controlling operators for Production process running.
  • Issuing permits to Production work and Maintenance work.
  • Performance appraisal, congratulations, disciplinary actions for operators.
  • Investigating and resolving customer complaints, off specification.
  • Prevention of Near miss and Safety accidents.
  • Training of Production operators and others.
  • Writing procedures and work instructions.
  • Bill Of Material review, and cost roll up on time to stick on our real raw material consumptions.
  • Controlling BOM with actual consumption in a monthly basis and updating its discrepancies.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO HAVE

Qualification required:

  • knowledge of ISO 9000 , ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.

  • Have an understanding of the SAP system and cost accounting.

Experience required:

  • Have knowledge and experience of the chemical plant operation.

Other skills required:

  • Able to communicate in English and Korean.

  • Have a good communication skill with team members and other teams.
