Required Profile

You have a degree in chemistry, chemical engineering or a related discipline, with a marketing/sales specialization, and at least 5 years of professional experience in market development/technical sales, preferably in the chemical industry.

You are recognized for your ability to connect with customer of diverse cultural and knowledge backgroundand specialties, your influencing skills to people at all levels and functions, internally and externally are needed.

You have a good command of project management, are motivated and result oriented. 

You are fluent in French / English, good proficiency in German. 

Mission Details

  • Market Intelligence : Monitor external market environment, gather and evaluate relevant market, competitor and customer information to determine opportunities, threats and required promotional strategy. Perform market studies on new applications and/or territories. 

 

  • Industry Events: Attend and represent Bostik at relevant industry events to support the promotion of Bostik technologies and uncover market insights and data

 

  • New Business Development :
    • Identify new business development opportunities in line with Bostik’s growth strategy for the relevant market segments. 
    • Manage the related portfolio and projects from the justification of the business case to the roll-out at customers.
    • Design Bostik technological offering and Value proposition to address new opportunities. Sponsor and lead cross-functional projects as appropriate to scope the appropriate product range and manage the roll-out with appropriate training and marcom support

 

  • Business Management
    • Monitor the existing business to identify and address trends (opportunities/threats).
    • Work cross-functionally with R&D, PLM and Operations to identify and execute cost improvement initiatives (LEAP) aiming for better profitability and competitiveness. 

 

  • Key account management : Support the definition and implementation of the KAM program with targeted accounts

 

  • Planning and reporting : Ensure compliance with regional forecasting and reporting guidelines (including via Salesforce.com)
