Mission Details

In the context of its business digital transformation, Arkema is recruiting a Customer Portal Product Owner.
Located in Colombes, in the Hauts-de-Seine department (92), Arkema France’s head office employs more than 800 people.
The Arkema Group, a French manufacturer specializing in specialty materials, employs 20,200 employees worldwide at 141 sites.
Colombes brings together the Group’s functional departments and most of its business units.

Arkema has launched a digital transformation program that applies to R&D, manufacturing and supply chain but also to the growth of its business by developing more personalized interactions with customers. This digital transformation reinforces Arkema’s strategy to become a leader in specialty materials. It is under the responsibility of the digital transformation department.
The Group Customer Portal is a flagship project for the development of digital technology for business. With a global and multi-business vocation, the portal will constitute a new digital interface with our customers, improving both the quality of service and customer knowledge through data. The portal facilitates the tracking of orders by displaying order status and documents in real time. Other services are being added based on the evolving needs of our customers towards e-commerce.

Methodology considered
Within the project team which will include experts from Arkema and digital agencies, the Product Owner ensures the consistency of the development with the user needs, the expectations of stakeholders and the long-term vision of the portal. He defines key performance indicators and translates the vision into functional terms to give operational direction to the development teams. He carries out benchmarks in order to identify new approaches.
The development of the Customer Portal is carried out following agile methods organized in different sprints and including tests with customers. Workshops & regular exchanges with representatives of the various Business Units, technology watch and benchmarks of solutions are key to prepare meetings of the e-commerce/digital marketing community.

You report directly to the E-Commerce Director, you have the responsibility for the development of the customer portal to all Arkema Group customers worldwide. 
You animate a community of 30 ambassadors among the regional business unit teams, community likely to double by the end of 2022.
You collaborate closely with the IT Solution Leader, the Digital Production team and several experts from Commercial Excellence and Supply Chain.
You are assisted by a Proxy Product Owner.




Some of your activities:
• Ensure the development of the customer portal, both in terms of number of users and functionalities,
• Train the commercial teams (sales and customer service) to know and promote the portal upon their customer contacts, 
• Control and optimize the onboarding process of internal and customer users 
• Collect user feedback, prioritize features per value, write user stories (specifications), ensure efficient testing and delivery 
• Adjust the organization of the user support
• Measure the adoption through relevant KPIs
• Take initiatives to boost customer adoption in coordination with the business units
• Contribute to the coordination of the other digital projects undergoing in the Group.

Required Profile

Graduate of higher education Bac + 4/5, you have five years of experience in project management and/or in a business role with aptitude to understand and address customer needs.
You demonstrate an ability to convince and manage transversal relationships (BUs, other central projects, ...)
You have an analytical/synthesis ability to define and manage priorities in a complex environment while maintaining a strategic vision 
A fluent English is required ; International profile is a plus
