Required Profile

With a technical background in chemistry/engineering or related industries, you have at least 5 years of experience in key account management and sales development, preferably in the automotive industry.

You have a good knowledge of the adhesives and sealants industry. 

You enjoy and master project management and the implementation of strategic plans. 

You are fluent in French, English and German.

Mission Details

As a Key Account Manager, your future missions will be the following: 

Business Development:

- Meet or exceed sales and margin targets for the defined portfolio of accounts to contribute to the Durable Goods Business Unit sales and margin goals.
- Proactively seek and fully develop new business opportunities with existing and new customers to maximize profitability and target achievement
- Develop a business plan for each key account based on increasing penetration with existing products or via new product development
- Work with the specialized technical support team to maximize the performance of existing and new products.
- Work collaboratively with the R&D and product management teams on new product development and technical projects.

Customer Service:

- Optimize customer service and account development by maintaining regular contact and good relationships with key customers, effectively handling customer issues
- Ensure customer service excellence by providing technical information on appropriate products to exceed their current and future technical requirements
- Support accounts, where appropriate, in the management of old receivables issues, ensuring that the company's cash flow targets are met.

Communication:

- Keep the Market Director regularly informed of account progress through meetings and reports
- Maintain appropriate records in the CRM system and comply with all defined reporting requirements in accordance with established procedures.
- Maintain an ongoing dialogue with marketing, customer service and technical department on all relevant issues, ensuring that communication is timely and effective.
- Represent the company at trade meetings, seminars, events, etc. to promote and enhance the image of the company and its products.
