In your role you :


- Serve as trusted business partner to the General Manager EMEA & China

- Ensure regular and reliable reports to the General Manager EMEA and to the Surfactants & Additives Financial Planning & Analysis Director,

- Communicate and explain results (P&L, OWC, Capex…) within the Business Unit.

- Control of Surfactants & Additives EMEA and China activities against objectives by the set up of indicators and monthly follow up. Identify areas of improvements and influence the changes.

- Secure integrity of the financial procedures within the Business Unit in EMEA & China

- Elaborate monthly forecasts, annual budget, and strategic objectives in coordination with Segment Leaders, Plant Managers, and Subsidiaries.

- Contribute to Surfactants & Additives regional and global economic and competitor studies

- are a key contributor to M&A projects (financials, due diligence…)

- Coordinate the Information Systems need of the Business Unit through contribution and representation of the Business Unit in cross functional working groups.

- Support transformation of the Business Unit reporting platform

- Develop business KPI’s to improve management visibility

You are a key contributor in the strategic planning and in Business Unit (BU) key projects: M&A projects, capital expenditure justifications and product development evaluation and play a lead role in defining and implementing the strategy (member of the European Leadership Team)

You report hierarchically to the Global Financial Planning & Analysis Director, Surfactants & Additives and functionally to the General Manager Europe & China.

Required Profile

Accounting or Finance Degree from a business school (Fluent English speaking is a must)

Minimum 7 years working experience

Business orientation and ability to evolve within both industrial and business complexity

High level of flexibility and adaptability

Communication skills and willingness to interact « up and down » with all BU functions and levels of management

Good financial and information systems background
