At Arkema, we are looking for Executive Manager - Sales & Marketing to be located at Chennai, India. This position will be reporting to the Sales Director. 

Position Responsibilities

· Handle sales and marketing of specialty chemicals in India

· Develop business by adding new customers, promoting new grades, developing new application segments

· Assure all sales activities like price offer, negotiate with key customers / distributors for contract/ purchase agreements /purchase order/shipment scheduling/collection of payments, etc.,

· Establish customer intimacy and collect regular feedback for continuous improvements & handle customer complaints

· Technical Expert for all segments and assure technical service to customers

· Manage Distributors / agents and assure business intelligence

· Prepare sales budget and ensure its realization

· Co-ordinate export activities with global entities

· Take trials at customer’s end, support them to understand the safety about product handling

· Participate actively in marketing and communication campaigns

· Work closely with cross-functional departments

· Assure sales forecast and planning

· Prepare business presentations and reports, use Salesforce

· Assure market insight and MIS activities

Job Dimension

· Ensure business objectives - sales volume, margins, growth, new business development, management of key accounts/ distributors/agents, payment collections etc.

· Ensure customer intimacy and training on safe handling and storage of products

· Ensure technical expertise for new business development and troubleshooting at customers

Required Qualification & Experience

· Minimum an Engineering Degree in Chemical / Polymer Science

· Sales experience of above 8 years

· Experience in sales of specialty chemicals, in application development, in new product development trials and or troubleshooting at customers

· Good understanding of various polymerization processes, crosslinking process, UPR curing process. Exposure to Rubber and/or automobile industry a plus

· Good understanding of Engineering and Technical requirement (Emphasis on Process and Chemical)

· Good organizational and management skills along with ability to teamwork and to interface with various functions in a large corporate organization

· Understanding of financial basics including international aspects

· Good knowledge of English and Hindi a must. Other language skills a plus.
