Material Handler / Packager

This position is based out of Birdsboro, PA.


Wage: $25.34/hr to start plus $.75 for 2nd shift and $1 for 3rd shift. Up to $32.58/hr

Sign-on bonus: $2,000

Shift: 8hrs each shift, rotates weekly between 1st, 2nd, 3rd;

Schedule: 7 days in a row with 2-3 days off in-between rotations

Overtime: average of 4-8 hours weekly, paid for over 8 hours worked in a day and over 40 weekly

  • Transferring raw materials
  • Transferring finished materials between warehouses
  • Housekeeping
  • Assist emptying finished product out of industrial dryers
  • Maintain daily Packaging process efficiencies
  • Comply with all technical, quality control, product manufacturing and safety procedures associated with Packaging
  • Operate equipment, processing systems
  • Operate powered industrial trucks
  • Have physical dexterity in climbing stairs, ladders, heavy lifting
  • Basic computer knowledge



  • Minimum education requirement: High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Must demonstrate basic math skills
  • Must be willing to be subject to pre-employment testing including drug and alcohol and physical testing.
  • Prefer 5 years experience in manufacturing type of work or 2 years chemical plant production work experience; similar skills/experience will be considered.
  • Prefer 2 years fork lift (tow motor) experience
  • Must be willing and able to work rotating shifts, weekends, holidays and overtime.
  • Must demonstrate ability to adhere to and comply with all safety requirements.
  • Must be highly motivated and detail orientated
  • Must be flexible and willing to support all aspects of the manufacturing operation.
