As a Business Development within our High Performance Polymers Business, you’ll be at the forefront of our efforts to promote low carbon footprint biobased and recycled materials in the automotive market.
Your Tasks:
- Propose and execute business development strategies to grow and drive a strong pipeline of new business opportunities to commercialization
- For products and/or markets that are emerging and/or to be developed, sets out, evaluates and gives priorities for the technological development opportunities in the geographic zone.
- Build relationships and become a trusted resource at key OEMs/Brands & tiers to develop new business opportunities
- Coordinate global activity with selected OEMs and tiers
Your Qualifications:
- >5 years experience within a technical sales, business or technical development capacity related to polymers, ideally within the automotive market
- Technical degree (Eng. or master), ideally with a major in Polymers or Materials Science
- Fluent in German and English. French is a plus.
- Strong customer focus, willing to travel extensivelly
- Curious and details oriented
- Excellent interpersonal, listening, communication and negotiating skills.
