As a Sales Manager within our Speciality Polyamides Business, you’ll be at the forefront of our efforts to promote low carbon footprint biobased and recycled materials in the market.
Your Sales Tasks:
- Follow customers demand and payment in cooperation with sales support staff
- Negotiate commercial issues and sign respective contracts
- Develop a reliable commercial relationship with customers by assuring the proposed budget in line with the product strategy
- Evaluate risks imposed by competitors and propose necessary steps to limit (monitor competition)
- Visit customers and prospects and ensure systematic reporting (actual visits/prospective visits)
- Coordination with sales assistants (orders) & demand management (deliveries)
- Detection of new business opportunities (existing & prospective customers)
- Propose divers applications to enlarge product portfolio due to applications or evolution of the products within his area
Your Other Tasks
- Coordinate developments of accounts he is responsible for with functional hierarchy and R&D organization
- Carry out approval of materials in co-operation with the customer and R&D organization (if necessary)
- Propose Commercial and Pricing strategy for new business
- Ensure application transfer within his own area and with other sales managers world wide
- Attend actively to technical and/or commercial exhibitions
Your Qualifications:
- 3-5 years sales experience in an industrial company. Experience with coatings and polyamides would be ideal
- Outstanding communication, presentation, negotiation and sales-closing skills
- Fluent in German, English and French
- Ability to analyse, to synthesize, to organize, to decide, to take priorities and to be innovative.
- Ability to understand and discuss technical requirements
