Product Group Manager EMEA

Your Future Responsibilities :

Our head office based in Colombes is looking for its future European Product Group Manager.

Reporting directly to the European Product Line & Marketing Director and as a member of the Product Line & Communication department, you will manage a team of European Product Managers (PLM) as well as other functions (assistants, trainees).

You will be responsible for setting up and managing the company's information system, as well as external communications with subcontractors, market associations, customers, prospects, etc. (on an ad hoc basis).

Your tasks:

Develop the skills and expertise of the PLM team, and provide advice and support in the most complex situations around the 3 dimensions of the PLM business:

1. product range management :

o Product range management
o Crisis management (material shortages, major complaints)
o Facilitating interaction and communication between the organisation's departments.

2 - Management of key projects :

o Prioritisation process for key projects
o Act as project manager on selected key projects
o Work to increase the profitability (EBITDA) of the technology

3. technology roadmap :

o Contribute to the development of the medium/long term technology roadmap with the Global Head of R&D and the Global Market Head.
o Ensure alignment of industrial assets and technology growth plan.

- Act as project manager for complex projects and key initiatives for the company: restructuring, asset management, structural safeguard projects, crisis, etc.
- Contribute to improving processes and interactions with other departments and entities: new processes, change management, 
- Represent his/her team, or in some cases the entire PLM department, in cross-functional meetings.
- Manage and contribute to integration and training programmes for new arrivals.
- Assume direct responsibility as Product Line Manager for selected product lines.

The profile we are looking for:

You have a higher degree in business and technology (chemistry).
You have excellent communication skills in a multinational, cross-functional environment. 
You are fluent in English and one or two European languages, preferably French and/or German; 
You have a good command of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
You will have 2 to 5 years' experience in team management and 5 to 10 years' experience in sales and marketing in a B2B environment, preferably in the adhesives or chemicals industry.
You have leadership experience with direct reports and in project management.
You are results- and data-driven, flexible, responsive and agile.
