Vos Futures Responsabilités:

Bostik is looking for a new Industrial Adhesives EMEA Supply Chain Director for its Colombes head office. This position reports directly to the Gobal Supply Chain Director and functionally to AP&C EMEA Business Director.

Industrial Adhesives EMEA Supply Chain Director covers responsibilities including service to customers, inventory and costs. He/she is accountable for the regional supply chain performance of the three Business Units of IA as well as the implementation and execution of core processes, tools and reportings. Is accountable to put in place Supply Chain organizations in EMEA that is able to meet company targets, and especially to fulfill customers’ orders at optimized cost and service level; Ensures policies and procedures implemented in all activities meet corporate requirements for safety, sustainability, quality & ethics; Leads the transformation of the EMEA Supply Chain as per Global roadmap, and to deliver projects in respect of timeline, budget and users’ satisfaction.

•    You will be working in matrix organisations involving 
o    local, regional and Business Unit teams 
o    Corporate Supply Chain teams from both Arkema and Bostik HQ
o    production units and teams working for both C&C BU and IA BUs 

Activities :

Safety,security, compliance and sustainability
• Understands, reinforces and demonstrates importance of safety and safe behaviour in the conduct of all SCM activities
• Ensures all regulatory and compliance measures are strictly respected according to applicable guidelines, rules & regulations;
• Contributes to cyber-security through best practices sharing and teams’ awareness enhancement;
• Support Customs Compliance team to optimize customs duties and protect company from penalties, IP threat or image damage; 
• Establishes and adheres to standards of business conduct and integrity consistent with the Arkema Code of Conduct and the Bostik way, applicable to all suppliers, partners & collaborators;
• Contributes to enhance sustainability culture within the network; identifies and shares good practices
• Improve Logistics safety by monitoring Transportation Safety Incident ratio and External Warehouse compliance;

Service & Business Development
•Define and implement actions for customer service improvement
• Work closely with business and plants to define and implement service offer, including product catalogue optimization
• Assess service and performance level through monthly and weekly rituals, at all levels of the organization and implement actions for continous improvement
• Support the integration of new acquisitions when needed

 

Process
• Cascade, explain and support target and project achievements to local organizations
• Implement and execute strategies covering all spectrum of supply chain defined by corporate supply chain 
• Define , develop and ensure follow up, execution and reporting of projects and actions focusing on operational  and costs performance improvement, and implement processes of control to ensure sustainability
• Support actively supply chain processes deployment
Demand & S&OP
• Deploy / re inforce Demand and S&OP standard processes across the region. 
• Contribute to 3-5 years plan and annual budget preparation
• When needed, manages the arbitrage between BUs/Countries/workshops at EMEA level and represents EMEA for WW decisions
• Work with business and customer service to improve forecasting process and accuracy for region
• Define and implement actions with plants to improve production scheduling adherence
Operational and costs performance
• Define and exectute action plan for costs optimization in perimeter including freight and warehouse
• Optimize inventory to reach DIO target, reduce non performing stock and scraps with detailed actions.Optimize cash collection with support from business
• Evaluate, define and strategise logistic distribution processes across the region
• Spearhead cost savings projects for the region and structural changes, report the targeted and actual savings into QUIMEO tool.

The position works in an office environment but requiring domestic and international travels (15%)

Le Profil Que Nous Recherchons :

•    Bachelor degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Material Science.  Master of Science
•    10+ years of industry and supply chain experience with people management roles across diverse functions and countries. 
•    Skilled in team building and people development
•    Experience and capability to work in highly matrixed, cross functional organizations 
•    Strong leadership, ability to drive the operationnal team towards excellence, establish a culture of customer satisfaction and embark the organization on important change programs
•    Subject matter expertise in Demand, Supply, Inventory Management, Logistics and Customer Service, APICS certification is a plus. 
•    Self-starter plus demonstrated effectiveness in strategic thinking with a keen focus on measurable results and KPI management.
•    Proven record of successful business process transformation and management of competing priorities.
•    Skills in analytics, problem solving, presentation, verbal and written communication.
•    Competence in operation excellence tools such as 6 sigma, Lean. Black Belt certification is a plus
•    Customer mindset oriented (both internal and external), with capability in economical optimization in order to liaise with P&L owners and Finance controlling 
•    Ability to communicate and work effectively with diverse internal groups (Sales/Mktg, Mfg, Cust Svc, Engineering, R&D, Finance, etc), and to align objectives of disparate departments/groups to achieve strategic business objectives.
•    ERP system knowledge is required – SAP experience preferred. 

Given the Group's international dimension, fluency in French and English is required.
